About

My name is Manuel Perez-Trujillo (PETRUJ) and through a series of collections, I introduce to you a story about my work and my life.

I was born and raised in a small town in Cuba called Jovellanos, during the peak of an economic crisis called the special period. After winning a visa lottery my family moved to the United States.

When I was 12 years old I was gifted my first camera, a kodak point-and-shoot. Through the lenses, I discovered something new, a world very different from the one I lived. It was then when my passion for photography began.

l am a self-taught photographer specializing in large format, museum quality limited edition photographic prints. I graduated from Florida International University with a masters in architecture.
My experience in architecture has greatly influenced my photography work allowing me to explore nature and the built environment through compositions of light, time and space.

I am both happy and excited to share my work with you and to grow as an artist, architect, and photographer.

The Prints

The entire collection is available in the form of fine art prints using only the highest quality printing and mounting processes available today. Prints can come in 1/16” thick sheet aluminum or framed. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4” wooden frame, attached to the back of the metal.

The framed prints have different options to choose from. Frames come with a 1/8” thick anti-glare clear acrylic, which is more durable than glass. All prints arrive ready to hang with hanging hooks and nails.

Limited edition collections are limited to 100 prints per size. Once all the prints are sold they will be retired and not sold again.

The exclusive nature of a limited edition print effectively raises its value and, therefore, its price. Every print purchased in this gallery includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

I can return any questions or inquiries via email within 24 hours.
